Wedding Ring Workshop
There are few moments more meaningful than creating the rings you’ll wear for a lifetime. In this intimate, private workshop, you’ll make your own wedding bands together under the gentle guidance of Joanne.
It’s a thoughtful, hands-on way to celebrate your upcoming wedding — slow, calm, and entirely shaped around the two of you.
How it works
Workshop Cost: £450 per couple, plus materials.
Your journey begins with a free consultation. You’ll visit the studio, explore design possibilities, and talk through the styles, finishes, and shapes that feel most like you. Joanne will guide you through what’s possible, answer any questions, and prepare a personalised quote for materials. Together, you’ll choose a workshop date that works for both of you.
Your making day
The workshop lasts around four hours.
You can book a weekday daytime session, a cosy after-hours
evening, or — subject to availability — a Saturday.
Once your rings are made, they will be sent away for hallmarking.
Please allow at least 6 weeks before your wedding date.
(Though it’s never too early to begin the process)
Two ways of making
Depending on the style you choose, you’ll work in one of the following ways:

Simple, classic
You’ll work directly in precious metal — shaping, soldering, and polishing your rings by hand in gold or silver. It’s a wonderfully grounding experience, full of small, satisfying moments.

Sculptural, textured
You’ll carve your rings in jeweller’s wax, shaping your forms before they are cast in metal. This approach is perfect for organic textures, bold shapes, or something a little more unexpected.
